How the Veteran Resume Builder Works
Eight steps from service record to finished resume. Only a handful of fields are strictly required to start: your name and email, then your branch, rank, and MOS. Everything else sharpens the output.

Contact. Name, email, phone, LinkedIn, city, and state. This becomes your resume header, so use the email you actually check.

Military experience. Select your branch (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or Space Force), enter your highest rank, your MOS/Rating/AFSC, years of service, and your key duties, one per line, in your own words. Write them the way you'd brief them; the translation happens later.

Civilian translation. Add a civilian job title and professional summary if you have them. Leave the summary blank and the builder writes a results-driven draft from your service details automatically.

What Makes a Veteran Resume Different

No. There's no signup, no login, and no password. Step 1 asks for your name and contact details because they go on your resume header. Your entries live in your browser for the current session only.
What format do I get at the end?

Use the Download PDF button on the preview step to save it as a PDF through your browser's print dialog. Nothing is stored after your session ends, so export before closing the tab.
Will the resume it builds pass ATS screening?
The output is structured for it: standard section headers, a single-column layout, and no tables or graphics that trip resume parsers. To maximize your match rate, also mirror keywords from each specific job posting in your summary and top bullets.
Does it translate my MOS into a civilian job title?
